Horde Hour
Zombie wave survival in your browser
About Horde Hour
Horde Hour is a free zombie wave-survival game you play right in your browser — no download, no sign-up. Your gun auto-aims; you move, dodge, and pick one upgrade after every wave. Runs on desktop, Chromebook, and phones.
Horde Hour is our original take on round-based zombie survival. Move through waves, collect upgrades and see how long you can survive in a browser tab. It uses its own code-drawn visuals rather than assets from Call of Duty.
It borrows the round-based tension of classic zombie modes and the one-more-run upgrade loop of modern survivor games, and it is tuned for short sessions: a good run lasts three to eight minutes.
How to play
- 1Keep moving — zombies close in from every side and walkers become runners by wave 3.
- 2Your weapon locks on to the nearest target automatically, so focus on positioning.
- 3Collect the green XP shards zombies drop. Clear a wave to choose one of three upgrades.
- 4Brutes soak damage and hit hard. Kite them in circles while you thin the crowd.
- 5Daily Run uses the same seed for everyone today — same spawns, same upgrade offers. Compare your score on the leaderboard.
WASD or arrow keys to move. Your weapon fires automatically at the nearest zombie. 1 / 2 / 3 picks an upgrade. P or Esc pauses.
Drag anywhere on the left half of the screen to move. Shooting is automatic. Tap an upgrade card to choose it.
