What happened
On October 8, 2026, the X account @RadiantOpti posted that Black Ops Zombies, Skate 3, Halo and Modern Warfare 2 were playable "in a browser tab," with the full list in the replies. The post passed roughly 7.8 million views. A day later, Kotaku described a wave of "vibe-coded" browser ports, reportedly built with help from AI tools that decompile and recompile old games for WebAssembly.
Within days, Activision issued DMCA notices against AI-built Call of Duty browser ports that used maps, models and animations exported from the original games. Some developers responded by requiring players to supply their own game files.
Which games were on the list?
Coverage of the list includes BO1 Zombies (including Moon and Kino der Toten), BO3 "Cheese Cube", Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 2, Skate 3, CS Surf, Halo CE (and a mobile variant), PES 6, GTA 5, GTA Vice City, The Simpsons: Hit & Run, and Quake 1–3.
Our AI Browser Port Tracker keeps a dated status for the biggest titles — taken down, offline, unverified, or "own files required" — with sources for every change.
Is "Radiant Optimizer" a program I should download?
No. The name has nothing to do with a PC optimizer you need to install. Never download a launcher, .exe or extension to play a browser game, and never enter account passwords on a port site.
Are the ports legal?
Ports that bundle a publisher’s copyrighted assets are what publishers have been taking down. Projects that ship only their own code and ask you to supply files from a copy you own sit in a greyer area. AI Browser Games does not host, embed or link builds that bundle copyrighted assets — see our editorial policy.
What can I play instead, legally?
We build originals for the biggest requests:
- Horde Hour — zombie wave survival for Black Ops Zombies fans.
- Getaway Grid — top-down city driving and police chases for Vice City fans.
- Kickflip Rush — street skateboarding tricks and grinds for Skate 3 fans.
- Arena Zero — a neon 3D arena shooter for Halo and Call of Duty fans.
